What all members of our team had in common was parenthood, a passion for bicycles, and the desire for a product like this in their own homes.
Taga's biggest influence came from the Dutch "bakfiets" (meaning "box-bike" or "cargo bike"). Cycling is a big part of Dutch culture and cargo or cargo bikes, three-wheeled vehicles with wooden boxes in the front, are very popular as a way to travel with kids. The idea behind Taga was to take the cargo bike concept one step further and turn it into a global trend.
Once the idea for Taga was developed, our international team conducted research among families and retailers in several countries, ensuring the best quality and specifications - making Taga the ultimate choice. People quickly recognized the brilliance of a vehicle that had all the features of a bike and a stroller, as well as an eco-friendly alternative to city and suburban driving, especially considering that it is mobile enough to be carried and trains and buses - not to mention a safe, easy and fun bonding experience for the whole family.
